Abstract

In this work is presented an analytical review of experimental studies of hydraulic resistance and heat transfer in channels with intensifiers in the form of systems of spherical protrusions in a wide range of operating and design parameters. A common approach to the generalization of the experimental data of various authors is elaborated taking into account differences in the geometry of the heat transfer surfaces. Сross functional generalized characteristics for coefficients of hydraulic resistance and heat transfer in channels with spherical protrusions are obtained.

Abstract

The boundary condition at the open end, taking into account nonlinear processes occurring at inflow (outflow) in the channel, is considered as a part of one-dimensional flow model of continuous medium in long circular pipes. An original procedure of its numerical implementation is offered. The problem of discharging of a pipe closed at one end and open at other end is considered. It is shown that the use of the offered procedure of numerical implementation of boundary condition describes well the processes occurring at the open boundary. Besides, the procedure allows reliable determination of the velocity of disturbances propagation and the values of the static pressure in the channel cavity.

Abstract

This article shows that to ensure reliable and economical operation of thermal power plants is necessary to ensure continuous operational automatic control of the most important indicators of water chemical mode turbines, primarily – the stiffness of condensate streams that form the boiler feed water. Developed and successfully utilized in the industrial exploitation of the technology instrumentation for monitoring parameters of water chemical mode turbines. It is shown that the reliability and efficiency of closed heating systems essentially depends on the impermeability of hot water heaters. Saturation of the heating water corrosive gases and hardness salts is due to leaks in water heaters, through which the system receives not deaerated and hard tap water. Shows the dependences of incoming the heating network of dissolved oxygen and hardness salts of the value of the suction cups of raw water. Proposed technology to reliably protect the heating system from the suction cups of raw tap water. The main feature of the developed technologies is an automatic control of stiffness heating water after hot water heaters.

Abstract

The particular qualities of thermodynamic analysis of structural-complicated combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant in Power Supply System are described. The absolute and relative measures of system fuel economy are criteria of fuel efficiency. The influence of reliability of CCGT on relative measure of fuel economy was shown up in the article. Maximum of system wide fuel efficiency are provided in model of CCGT with triple pressure heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). It is possible for research results to be used in selection procedure of optimum configurations and parameters of CCGT.

Abstract

An analysis of influence of nitrous gases cooling methods on output of by-product – non-azeotropic nitric acid for manufacturing of strong nitric acid or dinitrogen tetraoxide is given in the present paper. Also methods of reaction water removal from nitrous gases are considered. It is recommended to raise efficiency of reaction water removal from nitrous gases by an intensification of their cooling that reduces the nitrogen oxides consumption for by-product formation. Furthermore, the produced by-product can be neutralized by ammonia, soda ash, potash, limestone, quicklime. The recommended ways of reaction water removal meet the environmental safety requirements. The arguments given in the paper prove that the nitrous gas conversion excluding generation of non-azeotropic nitric acid as a little-valued by-product, i.e. complete processing of the nitrogen oxides in to the strong nitric acid or dinitrogen tetraoxide, requires additional processing techniques and expensive equipments increasing cost for main product.

Abstract

Innovative approach to the classification of mechanisms according to their structural symmetry signs based on the conditions of existence of spatial mechanisms is developed using the methodological base of general symmetry principles. Experimental study of spatial Bricard mechanism showed the existence of its modifications characterized by different combinations of symmetry signs. Structural analysis of the mechanism allowing for the symmetry signs enables to establish new possible modifications of mechanisms and reveal their correlations.

Abstract

In this paper, we propose to measure the momentum of the laser rocket engine produced at the initiation of the optical pulsed nanosecond discharge in camera , using a ballistic pendulum. We obtained formula for measuring the pulse as a function of the oscillation period T, the mass pendulum m and movement of the pendulum z and formula is derived estimates of measurement error pulse. The experiment was carried out using the methods of mathematical and statistical data processing. The estimation of the coefficient Cm.

Absrtract

The calculation of standard curved airbus fuselage panels with portholes, longitudinal and transverse power set is performed. Three types of permanent joints plating with reinforcing elements are considered. Fuselage panel FEM models have specific area for modeling riveting, riveting and adhesive, cohesive permanent connections. All calculations of the fuselage were carried out under conditions of inner pressure. The influence of the impact properties of the compound plating with stringers under biaxial loading on the general and local stress-strain state is presented.

Abstract

In the article there is carried out an evaluating of the potential and possibilities for solar and wind energy using on the Bashkortostan Republic territory. This involved a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the solar and wind energy potential and the technical and economic assessment of prospects for Bashkortostan Republic. Feasibility calculations have shown that the use of photovoltaic cells and solar collectors in Bashkortostan may be reasonable in those places where there is no power supply system, and their building involves considerable costs. Also, the current wind generators using is inefficient on the Bashkortostan Republic territory as a primary and backup power sources.
