Abstract

The boundary problem of non-stationary thermal conductivity of the finite-length cylinder is examined at cyclic boundary conditions of both first and third kinds. The analytical decision of the problem, modeling the indications of sensing elements of both the resistance thermometer and the ther-mocouple, is obtained at periodic change of stream temperature in time. Results of calculations of some examples showing significant influence of character variations with time of stream temperature, geo-metrical and regime factors on absolute and statistical indications of thermometers are resulted. The pre-sented decision can be used for an estimation of a methodical error of thermometers and hot-wire ane-mometer during measurements of periodically changing parameters of unsteady flows.

Keywords: vortex flowmeters, nonuniformity and nonisothermality flow, flow conditioner, measurement error

Abstract
A review of existing methods is presented for fluid flow rate measurements in conditions of nonuniform and nonisothermic flow in respect to restriction units and vortex flowmeters. The review includes the analysis of published data, regulations and engineering documentation from flowmeters producers. The authors’ approach to the stated problem solution is briefly described.

Abstract

The problem of mathematical modeling of thermal hydraulic processes in the pipeline systems of heat networks. The mathematical model is based on a system of balance equations of conservation of energy, matter and momentum continuum allowing for the coolant heat exchange with the environment. A system of algebraic equations to calculate the thermal-hydraulic processes. The technique of thermal calculation, which is to determine the heat flows through the layers and the surface of the cylindrical shape and is a method of calculating the heat flows in the piping system. The solution of the problems presented in the form of a calculation algorithm.

Abstract
Mathematical packages installed on the Internet servers enable us to solve the problem of “knowledge transfer from a generation to generation” upon on-line open alive cloud calculations. The on-line version of the reference books “Power engineering” is an example of knowledge transfer to the new generation of researches, working in power engineering field.

Abstract:  In the article the prospects of worldwide using of coal-water fuel in Russia are represented. Also the possibility of its preparation of coal available on the energy resources market is determined. As a main criterion determining the feasibility of producing and transporting coal-water fuel are adopted the effective viscosity for low and highly concentrated suspensions.

Key words:   Low-temperature catalyst, methanol synthesis, metal oxides

Abstract:  In the article the basic requirements of the catalysts used in methanol production from CO2 gas, especially the chemical composition of the catalysts used in low-temperature methanol synthesis are represented. Existing technological solutions improving the properties of the catalysts, namely the method of impregnating the granules and deposition method also represented. On the basis of these solutions made a calculation of material and economic costs of producing catalysts containing metal oxides, which revealed that the impregnation method is more expensive than the method of deposition.
