Abstract
Influence of variation of the considered fluid’s electrical conductivity on the flow rate measured by a magnetic flow meter has been experimentally studied. Aqueous solution of sodium chloride was taken as a working fluid. Studies were carried out on a local calibration setup. The trend of variation of magnetic flow meter’s additional uncertainty depending on electrical conductivity of the solution has been revealed.

Abstract
The experimental studies results of screening thermal protection method of the environment from hot body elements of gas turbine engine are presented in the thesis. Experiments made in the model setup with blowing air through porous screen. In the figures shows the temperature status of system: hot wall, jacket and screen between them; the “hot” and “cold” air gaps at different values of the airflow, the temperature of the “hot” wall and thicknesses of gaps. The results generalized to predict the temperature of the jacket and the screen with blowing air through a porous screen.

Abstract
Accuracy of a new method of instantaneous flow velocity field measurement on the basis of smoke visualization has been estimated. The method allows studying unsteady and fast processes and is based on measurement of displacements of turbulent structures visualized in the light sheet using smoke. Variation of bias and random errors of measurement depending on codirectional displacement of smoke particles has been studied. The new measurement method has been shown to be efficient in increasing the accuracy of particles displacement estimation, which has direct relevance to the error of flow velocity measurements.

Abstract
Semi-empirical approaches to modeling of phenomena of transport of momentum, energy and mass of components in the turbulent boundary layer containing various elements intended for transport intensification are considered. Planar boundary layer models are applied, and the perturbations are accounted for parametrically using the momentum balance, in which the conservative nature of the friction laws is accounted for. Equations for calculation of average coefficients of heat and mass transfer are given under various conditions of liquid and gas flows over various surfaces. Comparison with experimental data of various authors is provided.

Abstract
Is developed the mathematical model for pulverized coal combustion in the air flow, considering water injection and absorption of sulfur. Were considered the processes: burning in gas phase (the detailed chemical kinetics); moisture evaporation; yield of volatile species; carbon combustion; heating and evaporation of injected water; the absorption of sulfur oxides by calcium carbonate. Theoretical calculations were matched with experimental data. For two types of coal was investigated the influence of injection water and calcium carbonate for cleaning of reacting coal gas flow of sulfur oxides. It is shown that the absorption of sulfur oxides occurs only within a narrow range of temperatures (1100 … 1500K). Were determined the optimum values for consumption and for injection point of cooling water.

Abstract
The paper presents the results of research in order to determine the optimal coverage of sources and to identify areas within the boundaries where technological connection of consumers is possible. It tested a new method of calculating the cost of thermal energy obtained from alternative boiler. Calculations of the basic technical and economic performance of the boiler are applicable to the situation at the Republic of Tatarstan. The resulting cost of thermal energy obtained from alternative boiler can be used to calculate the efficient radius of the heating energy sources of the city of Kazan.

Abstract
In the new economic conditions, when there was a sharp increase in the specific of capital investments in nuclear power and lack of inputs capacities of pumped storage power plants worsened the problem of covering uneven parts of the schedule of electrical loads.
The power units of nuclear power plants, with the necessary revisions, constructive and technological parameters and procedures can be used to control the power in the power system, in particular when passing a night of failures of load and power regulation within a week.
Studies have shown that the use of power units of nuclear power plants for regulating power in power systems due to the daily unloading for 7 hours increases the cost of electricity by 16%. Such regulation of power due to unloading of combined cycle or steam turbine for supercritical steam parameters increases the cost of power, respectively by 3.1 and 4.2 %.
In case of insufficient maneuverable capacity one way of ensuring NPP base load electricity is the development of consumer-regulators. Using off-peak (night) electricity for storage and production of peak electricity in pumped storage power plants can increase electricity supply and reduce the cost of the released electric power in comparison with the unloading of the NPP. The limited places for the construction of PSP does not allow to build everywhere and use them to power regulation in power systems. It is shown that the electrolysis of water during off-peak consumption of electricity from the nuclear power plant at its production costs competes with the construction of pumped storage power plant under current and future indicators of electrolysers and sales hydrogen and oxygen in the market.

Abstract
A kind of the objective function of thermal power plant modes optimization according to the marginal profit criterion when working on the wholesale electricity market has been provided. The aim of the initial graphical model analytical representation of hardware characteristics, in particular turbogenerator characteristics is raised. The alternative analytical representations of graphical characteristics on the example of two turbogenerators were considered. The adequacy obtained through the method of different degrees least squares polynomials on the proximity criterion to the initial graphical dependencies has been assessed. Conclusions are made about the form of dependence which is the most suitable for the analytical of the initial image characteristics.

Abstract
A computational and experimental investigation of stress redistribution in a hollow cylinder with an internal pressure loading are performed. Experiments were carried out on hollow smooth and notched samples using extensometers transverse deformations. Calculations of stress fields in the areas of concentration held in a physically nonlinear statement. It was found that the dominant mechanism of elastic-plastic fracture due to stress concentration level and may not be reproduced in the traditional elastic models.
